Quilt Project

Four women's circles meet monthly for Bible study--either at church or in members' homes, utilizing the study guide provided by our national monthly publication, Lutheran Woman Today.  A monthly gathering for all Faith women ("combined circles") is held to review the lesson with the pastor and to have a business meeting to guide upcoming activities.  In addition, Faith women actively participate in regional activities through the WELCA, Pacifica Synod organization.

Faith Lutheran Church women belong to the national organization called Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, or WELCA.  The women members at Faith participate in all phases of church ministry, serving on the church council, supporting the Food Pantry, assisting with office duties, participating in altar care, coordinating special event meals, lending a hand with Sunday School and youth activities, etc., as well as working to achieve the goals of WELCA.

Dorcas Circle, the sewing group, works twice a month to quilt together.  Their efforts provide Lutheran World Relief with as many as 100 quilts each year.

Besides being supporters of on-going Faith activities, the Women of Faith Lutheran Church support a Navajo school in at the Evangelical Lutheran Navajo Mission in Rockpoint, Arizona, helping to sustain a classroom and provide clothing for students at Christmas.

We invite all women to be a part of our Faith ministry!  Come, join us!!
